IP information

Basic information uses IPinfo Lite: IP, ASN, network name and domain, country and continent. It does not include city coordinates, VPN flags or risk scores.

Optional connectors support IPinfo’s extended data, ipregistry, ipapi.is, IP2Location, AbuseIPDB, Scamalytics, IPQS, DB-IP and ipdata. Only configured connectors make requests. The presence of a connector does not guarantee that a subscription includes every field. Database access and redistribution terms are separate from the software licence.

Risk interpretation

Values are shown separately. IPQS, Scamalytics, IP2Location and AbuseIPDB labels use the adapted script thresholds; ipapi.is and DB-IP classifications come from returned data. AbuseIPDB’s highest band is labelled “Very high,” rather than treating a confidence score as proof of a denial-of-service attack. An ipapi.is percentage describes the company network’s abusive-IP ratio, not a probability that this individual visitor is malicious.

AI and media checks

This version inspects unauthenticated web endpoint responses. It distinguishes HTTP refusals, explicit structured country restrictions, authentication, challenges, rate limits, transport failures and responses. It does not log into accounts or generate paid API requests. A positive HTTP response is labelled “Response only.”

Browser responses may be hidden by cross-origin restrictions. Automated confirmation of chat, subscription eligibility, media catalogue access and Native / ViaDNS routing is not provided by this version. Native / ViaDNS remains unknown. YouTube and Prime Video can display explicitly labelled page-region hints. Local reports retain separate OpenAI API-region, Netflix title-page and Reddit chat-page observations adapted from the uploaded script. API results do not override ChatGPT web results; these heuristics still require live verification.

Wi-Fi QR codes

The Wi-Fi generator bundles Project Nayuki’s MIT-licensed QR encoder locally and uses the ZXing Wi-Fi payload convention. PNG and SVG exports have a four-module quiet zone. No credential data is sent to a QR API. WPA3-only and enterprise networks are not supported.

Source code and licence

The report structure, field mappings and some risk thresholds are adapted from xykt/IPQuality, uploaded version v2026-09-16. The adaptation is licensed under AGPL-3.0-only. The original site’s password and TOTP functions were retained and revised.
